Staying on at school

After S3 and S4 some of you will be in the position to choose your subjects again to study Intermediate, Higher and Advanced Higher qualifications. This means specialising a bit more.

It is really important to research your options and choose the subjects to suit the career or course you want to do. Subjects don’t always directly match up to what job or careers you end up pursuing, but some courses require you to do key subjects. So before you choose it is worth considering whether you want to study a course at college or university or maybe start a Modern Apprenticeship.
